In hopes of making the CFL season more exciting, Buddha Brother Cec has created this new and interesting way to enjoy the CFL. Admittedly, the premise was stolen from countless successful NFL fantasy leagues around. I wanted to make the CFL even more interesting. There are many uniquely CFL aspects to this fantasy league.

1. Canadian content. Thus the rules required to use Canadian players.
2. The larger field. Additional bonus points for extra long TDs.
3. Importance of specialty teams. One player is selected solely for his specialty team ability.
4. The right to name your team the same as someone else's. Only in the CFL.

I have looked at the CFL schedule and have come up with a way to involve the 8 teams playing that week. There are no protected players and you can select anyone playing that week so long as you satisfy the roster requirements. Just like being a real CFL coach.

RULES
1. Each week you select a lineup of CFL players to compete against another person also selecting a lineup.
2. Selections must be in prior to the first game of that week. Get them to Cecil and/or your opponent.
3. There are conditions to your selections. Your starting lineup can only have 1 player from each active team.
4. The kicker and defensive team catagories can be selected from any CFL team.

5. Starting lineup consists of:
1 Quarterback
2 Running Backs
4 Recievers
1 Return Specialist
1 Kicker
1 Defence TEAM

6. Between all of the player catagories 3 players need to be non-import Canadians. eg 2 WR and K, or 1 RB,1 WR, 1 K etc
7. Points are awarded based on the performance of the players selected. See SCORING POINTS.
8. The team with the greatest point total head to head will be the winner. I couldn't think of a cool tie breaker. If you can let me know. Therefor, a tie is a tie.

SCORING POINTS
QB/RB/WR
6 points for TD rush or reception
4 points for TD Pass Thrown
2 points for 2 pt convert run, pass or reception
2 point bonus for TD Pass > 50 yards
2 point additional bonus if > 100 yards

Return Specialist
6 points for TD on return
2 point bonus if > 50 yards
2 point additional bonus if > 100 yards

Kicker
3 points for FG
1 point for Convert, conceded single
1 bonus point for FG over 50 yards

Defence
6 point for every interception/fumble recovery for TD
2 points for every QB sack
2 point for every safety touch
2 points for every interception
2 points for every fumble recovery
2 point bonus for INT/FR > 50 yards
2 point addition bonus for INT/FR > 100 yards
